A regular halo is a ring of small diamonds you can see around the main diamond. It makes the center diamond look bigger.
A hidden halo is a ring of small diamonds set below the main diamond. You can't see it from the top, but it adds sparkle when you look at the ring from the side. This keeps the main center diamond as the highlight
